When the red stones
Turn pink
And the sky a blush
When the roads
Seem a little shorter
That is when you know
I shall be home
When the night
Embraces the evening
Gently from behind
When the moon
Strokes the scene
With its light
That’s when you know
I shall be home
When the candles you have lit
Will burn once more
When the flowers on the stone
Bloom to life so prose
That’s when you know
I shall be home….

It’s a reply to Salam which means ‘May Peace be upon you’. The reply roughly translates to “And also on you, with the rehma (Mercy of Allah) and barakah (success). Hope that helps! 🙂
